Director of Integrated Media Strategy
POSITION OVERVIEW
Love & Company, based in Frederick, Maryland, is a national leader in senior living marketing, research, branding, advertising and sales management. We are committed to the mission of helping seniors experience a better life!
We are excited to be looking for a Director of Integrated Media Strategy to help lead and manage our growing media practice. This is a role for someone who thinks in systems: who can look across TV, digital, print, audio, OOH, programmatic, and beyond, and see how the pieces fit together into something sharper than any single channel could deliver alone.
You know traditional media from the inside. You've sat across the table from TV reps, negotiated radio buys, and worked print markets well enough to know where the value hides — and where it doesn't. That market-level fluency, knowing which vendors deliver and how to get the best price in a given geography, is what makes your strategic recommendations credible and your plans executable.
You'll work closely with a small but talented team of media buyers and specialists, serving as their strategic thought partner — translating audience insights, market knowledge, and client goals into integrated plans that drive real results. You'll also be a senior voice in client conversations, building the kind of trust that makes clients look to Love & Company not just for execution, but for counsel.
If you're energized by the intersection of data, creativity, and purpose — and you want your work to matter in a space where it genuinely does — we'd love to hear from you.
WHAT YOU'll DO
- Own and lead cross-channel media strategy across resident and recruitment campaigns.
- Turn audience research and performance data into clear, integrated media recommendations.
- Build data-driven strategic media plans (including delivery metrics) across channels including TV, audio, print, OOH, search, social, programmatic, OTT, sponsorships, and job boards.
- Work alongside a small team of traditional and digital media buyers serving as a collaborative thought partner and strategic resource for their work.
- Serve as the senior media strategist in client discussions, confidently presenting performance insights and data-driven recommendations across omnichannel campaigns.
- Develop strategic relationships with media partners to unlock meaningful opportunities that support client goals.
WHAT YOU BRING
This is an independent contributor position on our IMS team. The individual should have the following experience and capabilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 7+ years of media strategy experience in an agency or similar environment.
- Solid foundation in traditional media planning (including Spot TV, Spot Radio, Print and OOH) and post buy/performance analysis and recommendations
- Experience leading and mentoring traditional and digital media buyers.
- Hands-on experience using MRI-Simmons or similar tools for audience insights and strategic planning.
- Comfort working across both consumer and recruitment audiences.
- Ability to lead media strategy discussions with client stakeholders and internal teams.
- Strong experience in traditional media planning and buying across local markets, enabling effective collaboration with and support of specialist media buyers.
