POSITION OVERVIEW

We are committed to the mission of helping seniors experience a better life!We are excited to be looking for a Director of Integrated Media Strategy to help lead and manage our growing media practice.
The Director of Integrated Media Strategy will report to the SVP, Integrated Marketing Strategy and works with Love & Company’s integrated marketing services team alongside creative, digital, and content marketing team members.
The best candidate for this role balances a deep understanding of how to leverage multiple media channels to match client strategy, how to manage media directly and through partners, and a strong ability to use data to both optimize media performance and explain media performance and the “So What” to clients in a way that inspires confidence.
This position shares responsibility for overall client performance.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
This person will oversee and participate in all aspects of media at Love & Company, including;Media Strategy and Planning
- Turn client strategies into actionable, high-performing media campaigns across all channels and funnel stages.
- Work with client services to understand goals, budgets, and priorities. Create annual media plans, allocate budgets across traditional and digital platforms, and craft clear recommendations.
- Build integrated campaigns across channels like email, paid search, direct mail and social, ensuring results drive demand.
- Present plans and adapt strategies quarterly to meet shifting goals.
- Lead online and offline media efforts through partners and team members.
- Oversee campaign planning, delegation, and execution while aligning with client briefs and budgets.
- Manage paid search and social media efforts, set up ad accounts, research and negotiate traditional media placements.
- Track pacing and ensure campaigns meet budget goals.
- Ensure all relevant tracking is in place, including conversion tracking and other relevant KPIs
- Monitor and improve campaigns using analytics.
- Recommend changes to plans and budgets based on results.
- Run A/B tests and refine strategies across channels.
- Optimize campaigns through bid updates, keyword adjustments, and ad refinements.
- Use performance data to uncover trends and opportunities.
- Present strategies, results, and recommendations clearly and confidently.
- Prepare and review reports on campaign performance, highlighting key insights and actionable next steps.
- Collaborate with client services to align recommendations before sharing with clients.
- Lead discussions on campaign performance and optimization.
- Stay current on media trends to identify new opportunities and improve ROI.
- Apply the latest paid media tools and strategies to senior living marketing.
- Work with the team to explore new platforms and innovative approaches.
- Update media plans to keep campaigns competitive in a fast-changing landscape.
- Regularly curate and share key media and online trends for internal stakeholders and client.
- Help other teams develop and execute campaigns.
- Create and maintain best practice guides and workflows for seamless collaboration.
QUALIFICATIONS
This is an independent contributor position on our IMS team. The individual should have the following experience and capabilities:- Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in leveraging media to drive client results
- 5+ years’ experience as a paid media manager or equivalent
- 3+ direct experience planning and managing paid search, paid social, programmatic, and other digital media
- 3+ years’ experience planning and managing traditional media channels, including direct mail, print, TV, radio, etc,
- Significant experience holding partners accountable for media results
- Demonstrated experience delivering ROI and customer growth improvements
- 2+ years’ agency experience in a client-facing role preferred
- Experience working with media planning tools and concepts (e.g, Audience research, R/F, omnichannel planning tools, etc.) preferred
- Experience in marketing for the senior living field preferred
- Experience working with the following platforms preferred;
- Google Ads
- Meta
- Direct Mail Management Platforms (e.g., DirectMail 2.0)
- Programmatic Media Buying platforms (e.g., TradeDesk, StackAdapt, etc.)
- CRMs (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce, etc.)
- Work well in a team environment and have strong communications skills
- Maintains a positive attitude even under stress
- Takes initiative and ownership for results
- Well-organized and can multi-task and manage workload efficiently to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical skills
